Dolphin Discovery-Cozumel is the best place to interact with different species, among them are the sea lions. These marine mammals are known for their energy and the joy they bring to people when they see them walk and play. At our facilities, our beloved sea lions are waiting for you to visit them to share their happiness and give you a memorable experience

With the Sea Lion Discovery program, you’ll get the unique chance to interact up close and personal with these fantastic creatures. You’ll be amazed by their skills as they jump out of the water to impress you. You’ll definitely be charmed when you hear them sing and watch them dance. More charming than this will be the possibility to touch and hug them, as well as receive a furry, wet kiss.

The fun doesn’t have to end there! With your program, you get free admission to Chankanaab Park, a place dedicated to the preservation of nature and the entertainment of people. Here you will enjoy nature’s beauty more closely and relax in our fantastic facilities.

    Please note

      Children must be over 4.6 ft to participate in the Sea Lion program.
      Chankanaab Park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
      For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is prohibited. Professional photos will be available for sale.
      The Chankanaab Park admission rate as a companion is $23 USD for adults and $16 USD for kids.
      The use of life jacket is mandatory in all water programs. 

      IMPORTANT: currently, we are not accepting US dollars in cash at our facilities (check-in, restaurant, boutique, and photos), however, we accept Mexican pesos in cash, Canadian dollars, pounds, and euros. If you want to use an international credit or debit card, payments will be done in Mexican or US currency.

      What to bring
        RECOMMENDATIONS

        Bring towels and cash for taxis, shopping, meals, etc.
        For safety reasons, expectant mothers cannot participate in this program.
        It is important to arrive 30 minutes before your program, remember you'll receive a short briefing before your swim.
        Our natural environment is fragile, we need to protect the reefs; for this reason sunscreens (even reef safe & biodegradable sunscreens) are not allowed in any of our programs.
